Are you trying to learn more about the Canon EOS 1DX? If so, please check out the rest of this article because I’m going to fill you in on all of the Canon EOS 1DX specs. And if you stumbled upon this article by accident and you haven’t heard about this latest release from Canon, it’s going to be their newest addition in their professional DSLR product line. The one thing that I can tell so far about all of the information that I’ve come across regarding this camera is that they have really raised the bar this time and they have made some amazing things possible with what you can actually do with a camera such as this.
Canon 1DX Sensor
The biggest change that I’ve noticed so far in the Canon EOS 1DX specs is the new sensor that they have added this time around. This sensor is an 18 MP full frame CMOS chip. It’s capabilities are rather impressive since it is fully capable of shooting at 12 frames per second right now. They also decided to move up to full frame as opposed to APS-H, which was what they had in the previous model. The reason this change was made it so that the data read out is much faster with this latest sensor. The other thing you might find interesting about the new sensor is that it has a dual line readout and 16 channels. This is a big difference when you compare it to the 8-channel in the previous model.
The other big change that I’ve come across regarding the Canon EOS 1DX specs is that there are autofocus changes. The change they made in this area is that there is a significant improvement in the configuration of this feature. It used to be a very complex thing to do but they have made it so much simpler with this latest model. You can easily adjust it for tracking sensitivity, or you can send it to acceleration/deceleration tracking if you’d rather go that route and it’s very easy to do.
Here’s a quick rundown of the autofocus presets:
• continue shooting, ignore obstructions
• instantly refocus suddenly with obstructions
• versatile multi purpose
• erratic subject movement
• subjects that accelerate or decelerate quickly
• subjects that change speed and move erratically
Now that you know all of the Canon EOS 1DX specs, you should place your preorder and make sure you can get this amazing camera as soon as it’s released.
